Dr. Gakombe is the Founder and Director of The Metro Group PLC and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Metropolitan Hospital. He is also currently serving as the chairman of the Keya Healthcare Federation. He has also served in the National Economic and social council in Kenya. He studied for a degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Nairobi and did an MBA in strategic management. He has played a key part in the design and development of Hospital Information Management Software (AMS 2000), which is presently being used in multiple hospitals, and E-care, the first digital catering platform in a hospital. He is passionate about the enabling role of ICT in health.
Dr. Robin Mogere has been actively involved in practicing medicine for the last 30 years and holds an MBChB from the University of Nairobi and an FRCS from the Royal College of surgeons Edinburg. He has previously worked at the Coast general hospital, Taita Taveta District hospital. He also went to Guys Hospital, London where he did surgical training and specialization, and afterward went to the University of Nairobi where he was a lecturer in the surgery department HE has also served as a board member in the following institutions; Medical practitioners and dentists board, Nairobi hospital. He is the chairman and a board member of the Metro Group PLC. Â
Dr. Thagana is a director at the Metro Group PLC and Enkishon Group Limited. He is also a medical officer in the profession working as Obstetrician and Gynecologist. His specialty is in infertility and laparoscopy surgery.Â
